On March 4–5, 2025, the Institute of Czech Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic will host an interdisciplinary meeting of researchers from various humanities disciplines engaged in the metadata-driven research. The event is organized by the Bibliographical Data Working Group of DARIAH-ERIC and the Czech Literary Bibliography. The aim of the workshop, titled Metadata-based Research in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, is to present current research projects and share experiences, as well as to formulate common questions whose solutions require interdisciplinary collaboration and the combination of specific knowledge and skills.
The two-day hybrid meeting aims to help create a diverse community of researchers interested in future participation in larger projects investigating European cultural and social heritage through metadata approaches. The workshop is freely accessible to all interested parties and can also be followed online via the Zoom platform.
The event is financially supported by the DARIAH-EU consortium, the European digital research infrastructure for the arts and humanities.
