The article entitled “A computational approach to the history of Czech literature in translation during the Cold War (1948–1989)” is another output of the project whose aim is to map the worldwide dissemination of Czech literature in book form from the end of the Second World War to the present. It uses a combination of Big Data analysis and qualitative methods of sociology and translation history. read more

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the first online publication of the bibliography of the Institute of Czech Literature of the CAS. Back then, our records were being transcribed into the online world within the ISIS system with weekly updates. In 2017, the final conversion of all the CLB databases to the Aleph library system was carried out, which is still in use today. read more
