This year, a long-discussed amendment to the law was approved, which establishes 12 October as the Day of Samizdat not only in Slovakia, where it has been celebrated since 2016, but also in the Czech Republic. It will come into force on 1 January 2025, so we will commemorate this new important day for the first time next year. read more

Did you know that the CLB has its own editorial series? It is called Bibliographica, it is the youngest series published by the Institute of Czech Literature of the CAS and its purpose is to publish specialized bibliographies in the field of literary science or related disciplines. It also serves to publish specialized and methodological manuals on bibliographic topics. read more
