CLB at autumn conferences

The end of autumn was rich in conferences whose common theme was research data management and the development of software tools for preserving and sharing research data.

Last week, we went to the Berlin University for the international conference Linked Open Data and Literary Studies. Vojtěch Malínek presented a paper on the development of the European Literary Bibliography platform, which offers easy access to bibliographic data from various European literary studies or library institutions from a single search engine.

He also introduced this project to his Czech colleagues from the ranks of librarians, archivists and museum professionals at the conference Archives, Libraries, Museums in the Digital World, where we annually report on the latest developments in the Czech Literary Bibliography.

We also took part in the EOSC CZ 2024 National Conference with the subtitle From Digital Archives to Repositories. Working with research data belongs to the portfolio of activities of our research infrastructure, so we have been following the implementation of the EOSC initiative in the Czech Republic for a long time. Representatives of the CLB are, among others, members of several EOSC CZ working groups and thus directly participate in shaping the modern form of scientific data infrastructure in the Czech Republic.
