This year, a long-discussed amendment to the law was approved, which establishes 12 October as the Day of Samizdat not only in Slovakia, where it has been celebrated since 2016, but also in the Czech Republic. It will come into force on 1 January 2025, so we will commemorate this new important day for the first time next year.
