Last week, a lecture on Czech samizdat magazines was held at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, prepared by our colleague Dominik Melichar for the students of the local Slavonic studies department.
He also talked about the unofficial literary production of the Hanspaulka community in the 1970s and 1980s, which he deals with not only as a bibliographer at the Institute of Czech Literature of the CAS, but also as a PhD student at Masaryk University in Brno.
Dominik’s other nice duty during his PhD internship was to introduce the students to the databases of the Czech Literary Bibliography and to show them some tips on how to search in the digital environment for data and resources useful in writing a thesis on a topic related to Czech studies.
