Members of the CLB team contributed personal entries to the encyclopaedic dictionary representing the spiritual life of Central and Eastern Europe after 1945. Markéta Ř. Holanová wrote about Josef Jedlička, novelist and essayist. Gabriela Romanová introduced Josef Škvorecký, novelist and exile publisher. The dictionary was published by Les éditions du cerf in France under the supervision of Chantal Delsol and Joanna Nowicki. It deals with the diverse intellectual environment (from anti-Semitism to the memory of samizdat and contemporary art) that shaped Central and Eastern Europe during the second half of the 20th century.
