The journal Perspectives has just published an article by Ondřej Vimr (Global and Digital Literary Studies Lab of the CLB) entitled “The impact of translation subsidies on publishing decisions in smaller European countries”.
The study was based on 47 interviews with editors and publishers from five smaller European countries who shared their experience of the impact of literary translation subsidies on the selection of titles to be published in translation.
