The conference Exilanten aus Ungarn, Jugoslawien und der Tschechoslowakei 1945–1989 (Exiles from Hungary, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia 1945–1989) will take place at the University of Regensburg on 16–18 November 2023.
It aims to shed light on the relations between the exile cultures of the three countries formerly ruled by the communist regime.
Anna Gnot will speak on behalf of the Czech Literary Bibliography with her paper Prag: The topic of emigration in Ota Filip’s radio commentaries on Radio Free Europe in 1982–1983. Results of a query in the writer’s archive in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek.
