At the beginning of December the University of Hong Kong hosts the Translation Studies and the Digital Humanities conference. In one of the parallel sessions accompanying the keynote speakers session, our colleague Ondřej Vimr will speak about his research focus.
His paper will present data-driven research on how Czech literature has spread worldwide through translations over the last almost two hundred years. Ondřej Vimr will be speaking about different approaches to the integration, harmonisation, qualitative evaluation and interpretation of diverse bibliographic data and datasets that can help researchers in their efforts to compile a bibliography of translations (especially those related to small national literatures).
