On 21 and 22 May 2024, colleagues from the Polish Literary Bibliography (Polskiej Bibliografii Literackiej) visited the CLB. The meeting took place within the framework of the bilateral mobility project “Advancing Metadata-driven Research and Curation Methodology for Literary Studies”, which is a collaboration between the Czech and Polish Academies of Sciences.

The Digital Humanities Hackathon 2024 will take place in Helsinki between 15–24 May. Our colleague from the Global and Digital Literary Studies Lab, Charlotte Panušková, has signed up for the event on behalf of the Czech Literary Bibliography.

On Monday, we welcomed first and second year students from the Institute of Slavonic Philology at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Prague, for whom we organized a tour of the Institute’s library and a presentation focused on the use of our databases and the VuFind search interface in writing final theses.

On 23-24 April 2024, the 35th meeting of the Bibliography Section of the Association of Libraries of the Czech Republic (SDRUK ČR) took place. As usual, during this event we presented the activities of our research infrastructure over the last year.

In October 2023 we reported on the Open Bibliodata Workflows Booksprint workshop. We are now pleased to announce that the output of this event – a major study entitled Open Bibliographic Data Workflows and the Multilinguality Challenge – has been published in the Journal of Open Humanities Data 2024/1.
