Last week, a two-day student conference culminated this year’s edition of the Open Science project, which offers high school students the opportunity for a one-year internship at the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Three high-school students, who completed their internship at the Biographical Archive Section of the CLB under the guidance of Petra Večeřová, also presented their year-long research at the conference. In a project focused on linking bibliography, biography and cultural anthropology, they worked on the topic ‘Czech Women Writers of the 19th and the First Half of the 20th Century. Visualization of prosopographical data.’
You can see a presentation of the results of their work here: https://clb.ucl.cas.cz/otevrena-veda/#_otevrenaveda2022. You can also find out how the students evaluate their internship experience at this link.
