The Czech Literary Bibliography (CLB) databases are available online in open access mode, providing free unlimited access to all users. Use of databases is contingent on proper citation and explanation of the way they have contributed to research and project outcomes, according to the guidelines provided at https://clb.ucl.cas.cz/en/how-to-cite-the-clb/.

The contents of the CLB databases listed below are made available under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license, the complete text of which can be found at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/legalcode.

CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 defines the scope of powers in handling the Czech Literary Bibliography databases listed above (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Work’) as follows:

The user is entitled to:

  • Share the Work = to extract, make use of, reproduce, and share all or a substantial part of database contents.
  • Edit the Work = to make modifications to or build on database contents.

On condition that he or she:

  • Indicate the source – The user is obliged to state the source of the Work in the prescribed manner. The citation must contain information about the title and creator of the Work, data sources, and a link to the full text of the public license conditions CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 International.
  • Not use the Work commercially – It is forbidden to use the Work for commercial purposes.
  • Retain license – If the user edits, modifies, or builds further on the Work, all derivative works must be exhibited under the same license as the original Work.
