Studies on the Czech contribution to world literature in the last two centuries

Ondřej Vimr from the Global and Digital Literary Studies Lab of the CLB and Cezary Rosiński from Polska Bibliografia Literacka published a study entitled Czech Literature in the World: the Possibility of Large-Scale Mapping (1820–2020) in the last thematic issue of the Czech Literature (70/6).

The article uses computational methods to process and analyse data from OCLC, the Czech Literary Bibliography and the National Library of the Czech Republic and presents three case studies demonstrating the possibilities of computational analysis of Czech literature in translation.
